Where Epic Adventures Build Real-World Superpowers.
HeroDrome is a screen‑free, social experience that helps children develop essential real‑world skills through
meaningful, shared play.
Stories and roleplay are only tools. Growth is the goal.
What to expect?
We believe that the best way for children to develop essential life skills is through the power of collaborative storytelling.
The HeroDrome Experience
At its core, HeroDrome is a screen-free environment designed to engage a child's mind. Each session consists of one professional adult Story Teller and a small, focused group of five children. The Story Teller acts as a guide, narrator, and mentor—ensuring the narrative remains engaging, inclusive, and physically and emotionally safe for every participant.
Developing "Soft Skills" Through Narrative
While the children are busy navigating mythical lands and overcoming challenges, they are actually participating in a structured educational environment. Our methods utilize role-play game techniques to develop real world superpowers.
Your First Session: The Journey Begins
The first meeting is dedicated to building a foundation. We introduce the children to their unique heroes and the rich, ever expanding World of HeroDrome. Crucially, this session is also about connection. We take the time to get to know both the children and the parents. This allows our Story Tellers to tailor future sessions to the specific goals you have for your child and the specific skills they are looking to strengthen. HeroDrome is more than just a club; it is a space where children lead the story, and the story builds the child.
Superpowers
Communicate with Confidence
Children learn to express themselves clearly, listen to others, and speak confidently in a group. They learn to articulate ideas and find middle ground with peers.
Cooperation & Empathy
Shared decisions build patience, empathy, and strong teamwork skills. To solve challenges children need to step into the shoes of a other heros to understand their different strengths and weaknesses, and combine them to solve the quest.
Creative Problem Solving:
Open‑ended challenges encourage planning ahead, critical thinking, and understanding consequences. Children actively shape the story - their ideas matter, and there are no single “right answers.”
FAQ
- doesn’t rely on lectures
- avoids overstimulation
